i wanna get a job!

I wanna get a job!!! but my parents won't let me . they said that since i'm going back to school in a month's time, i shouldn't worry myself with a job and i should enjoy my holiday. Enjoying holidays are for ppl who have worked hard all year. not me!(well i dont think i worked hard enough). so i should get a job. it would help with my lengthening shopping list (the total expenditure exceeds my mother's shopping spree budget) and my wish for ppl to stop thinking that i'm tied to my parent's apronstrings. but i guess my parents must be right since they've probably gone thru this once.
