Happy Valentines' Day!!
Hey ppl!! Happie valentines' day!! lols. Mine is spent at home, cooking lamb chop, facebooking, playing solitaire and doing chores. but hey, it was a nice day for relaxing. I quit at archives so now i'm free. until tuesday. ask me if you dunno why cuz there's many reasons why i can't type it here. anyway, my mom bought me a rose! so sweeet of her. and sheryl gave me some lantern- like ornament which is really cool. kinda sad that valentines' day is spent at home but its not that bad to be single! only problem is, when your friends are attached, you have to be a lightbulb. but i guess that's life.

Me and sheryl took this photo on the way to archives. I think its actually very nice cuz if you look carefully you can see Sheryl and I in the background. lols.
Apparently our A results are coming out on 9 march. not totally confirmed yet but that's what most ppl are saying so...
dun really have much to say today. quite bored with life.

We all got through to quarterfinals!!! So exciting. But so scary also la. The QFs are on thursday AND I HAVEN'T PICKED A SONG YET!!! very holy cow. confir need to take leave oin wed to go prac le. throat's still acting up but hey, i did auditions with a funky throat didn't i? I'll just pull that magic again. today was bored to death in archives again except from the occasional humor i got from watching my colleague alvin fall asleep (i worried first ok? then i loled). Anw, grats girls!! We'll go all the way!! Need to sincerely and seriously thank mingching, colin and kangting for helping all 3 of us!! Yo ppl!! hahax. i finally have time to blog at home since my office computer has NO INTERNET CONNECTION. haix. yesterday i was told to search their photo database for photos related to cold war. my in-charge, kevin, gave me a list of keywords to search for so i was just busy printing. Anyway, yesterday we went for Virtuoso 2009 auditions. all of our auditions seemed to havve gone well so we're just crossing our fingers. Hope we all get in so that we can continue meeting up to practice. Those days were really enjoyable so i wish we can continue that. Lols.Life is currently at a standstill. It feels very weird not to be learning anything. Sinve i forgot to sign up for FTT after passing BTT, I'm like not doing anything now. Feels like a waste of time but i guess soon we'll all be studying again in uni. I WANT TO DO WELL AND GO INTO A GOOD COURSE!! dun wan to have wasted 2 years( although you cant really say it was a waste since i met so many great ppl.)
Anw, High School Never Ends by Bowling For Soup is one of the songs i've been listening alot to vuz it seems it really is true. All the gossip and backstabbing, check. Crazy in-charge you wanna keep running away from? Check. The funny ppl that you just seem to be able to talk to? Check. The weird ppl that make you just stare at them? Check. Everything's there la. Seriously.

wahh. today's my first day at National Archives. It's really dead down there man. I cant believe sheryl has lasted there for so long without going crazy. Remember the cold room i talked about in the last post? well, if the Colr Room was silent, National Archives is what Earth will sound like once there are no more living things on it. Seriously, it's that bad. I almost cracked myself up but have to control cuz i'm sure that even if i laugh softly it'll be heard from the boss' office. my boss (called Praying Mantis in future reference) really looks like a praying mantis. Which is scary. And she's those naggy kind. Kind of got on my nerves but i managed to pretend and smile and say "ya,ya,ya" to everything. Damn i deserve an oscar!! i felt like slapping her listening to the way she talked to another employee. No doubt the employee is below her in rank but she talked to him like he's stoopid la. Anyway, that employee guy is nice so i'm under him and it's not that bad. Can't stand that praying mantis. And there's another woman( henceforth called Nagger) who spent like 20 mins telling us to do things when she could have used like 1 min. She just keep umm, oh... etc etc. very pro la.You know what's the best thing? they use floppy disks to transfer info. Please la. The computer I'm typing this on has no floppy disk slot cuz floppy disk is so outdated it's ancient. But my job not that bad la. Just database updating. Quite ok la. but that room is also damn cold. Haix.Jacket time.
