Singing and escapism
I wonder. I miss the times we used to sing about escape and running away just to feel happy. Songs like Great Escape. Kind of miss those times cuz it would be ppl like me, Sheryl and Sam just singing at the top of our voices, and for a moment feel free of AJ's constricted environment, grey aged walls and institutionalised organisation. I wonder if we'll ever have times like that ever again. Secondary school and JC was fun because of all the singing. Super good memories of being on stage, even though the performances were not always awesome. wouldnt change a moment of it. Singing under the umbrellas in AJ, while wondering what debauchery(i got the spelling right on the first try!!) was going on in NEXUS(or shall I say, SEXUS). None of us could really sing Great Escape, cuz of the range, but if there is one thing i really miss is the fact that we could anyhow whack without worrying what we sound like. really miss that.
